PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

  1. Parents, Guardians or other persons are not allowed to speak to the student or their teachers during class hours without the permission of the Principal. Appointments may be made before hand for an interview during a teacher’s free periods, only with the approval of the Principal.
  2. Private tuitions are strongly discourage. If there is a real need, written permission is required from the Principal to engage a tutor at home or in school. Teachers are not ordinarily allowed to give tuitions to pupils who are being taught by them.
  3. Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking keen interest in the children’s progress.
  4. The diary should be brought to school everyday. Parents should carefully go through the diary and sign the remarks. The unit test reports and the Semester Examination results should be scrutinized and by the parents.
  5. The school will insist on strict punctuality, regular school attendance, cleanliness in dress, general grooming and fidelity to study and work assignment. Absence from school for merely social functions will be strongly discouraged.
  6. Students who neglect the lessons will be required to stay in school after class to complete the lessons.
  7. Attendance at school functions such as Children’s day, Sports day, Independence day, Republic day, etc. is compulsory.
  8. Parents or guardians are specially requested to notify the school of any change in their address.
  9. When communicating with the Principal., Parents are requested to mention in their letters the standard, name, roll number and division in which their children are studying.
  10. Parents and guardians should as soon as possible notify the school authorities of the occurrence of any contagious or infectious disease in the house where a pupil lives, and the pupil or pupils must not be sent to school until all danger of infection is over after the LAST CASE in the house, according to the nature of the disease.
  11. Parents and guardians may interview members of the staff regarding their child’s/ward’s behavior and progress in the school. Prior permission of the Principal is required to visit a teacher during a class period.
  12. Parents are informed that their children are liable to be fined or retained after school hours by the Principal for any of the following reason:-
    1. Not wearing the correct uniform.
    2. Not having the report book signed when required.
    3. Not having a remark made by the teachers in the calendar signed by the parents/guardians.
    4. Not being on time for assembly or class.
    5. Repeatedly forgetting to bring books.
    6. Not having the leave record duly signed on time.
